Our founder, Jessica Mae, has over 18 years of makeup artistry experience and understands the business of beauty. Her passion for creating professional, luxurious and world class experiences has set WPI a part since inception. We hand-pick, interview, and technically test each and every Artisan that joins our team. We also conduct full background checks to ensure the safety of our clients while our team enters their homes, offices and events. At WPI you aren’t just “another client”, you are part of our family and it is our pleasure to take care of you.

Hello beautiful! We are so glad you’re here! We are the faces behind this amazing company which we feel is important to note, because while WarPaint International might sound like a big box company, we are still a small family owend business. At WarPaint International our number one priority is our clients. Our goal is to not only make you look amazing, but to feel amazing too. And, of course, have fun along the way! Being that Jessica Mae is a professional makeup artist herself, we understand that you entrust us with some of your life’s most memorable and special occasions. It’s an honor to be a part of them!
We founded WPI together in 2010 with the vision of touching as many lives as possible. We have contracted some of the best talent in the industry and created a culture of greatness with them. We are one big WPI family! After more than 16 years of curating wedding day bridal makeup and hair experiences, coordinating with thousands of vendors, and writing even more on-site wedding day beauty timelines, we are confident in the value and knowledge we add to your big day.
WPI Beauty is professional beauty agency; we are not a single freelance artist nor do we bring in people to facilitate work we’ve booked when needed. Our permanent team is vetted, interviewed, technically tested and background checked to ensure safety in your private spaces, great communication, timeliness and skill in order to achieve your desired looks.

The WPI Difference

Our team of talent goes through an extensive hiring process before we contract them. Our interview process starts with a thorough review of each applicant's portfolio, resume, and of course a social media check. From there we conduct a ‘get to know you’ interview where we have the opportunity to ask those all-telling questions about the type of person they are and their experience as a professional.
The next step is a technical interview where the applicant brings in a model and we get to see their skills in action. This process allows us to see the types of products they use, their sanitation practices as well as their skill-set and customer service.
Finally. The final stage is to run a national criminal background check, which includes every category. We partner with Trusted Employees for this service. This final step is of the utmost importance to us so we can ensure the safety of our clients. Once all of those things pass with a green light we contract them and take them through an on-boarding and orientation process to familiarize them with our company policies and procedures. Many beauty agencies over-look this crucial step and independent freelancers can't offer this safety piece for themselves. You should never have to worry about the credibility of the Artisans you are contracting to bring into your home, hotel room, event space, corporate offices, etc.

We recognize that we are human and mistakes are bound to happen. We will be the first to admit when we don’t get it right and make every effort (within reason) to correct our errors. Our goal is to leave our clients glowing, confident and happy as much as we can possibly control.

We require all of our artisans to carry a liability insurance policy. This means that in the unlikely event bodily injury or damage to property are caused by a WPI artisan, there is an insurance policy in place to take care of such an instance. We partner with BodyWork Insurance. Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request.
