Samuel "Sammy J" Koza is the co-founder and chief marketing officer of WarPaint International Beauty Agency (WPI Beauty), the Twin Cities' original on-site hair and makeup agency, which he launched in 2010 with his wife, founder Jessica Mae Koza. As CMO, Sammy leads the agency's brand, search, and digital strategy, along with business development and operations systems. He is also the founder of Raging Bull Digital, a Minneapolis–St. Paul digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, local SEO, and website design. Raging Bull built and manages WPI Beauty's entire digital footprint.
Building WPI Beauty’s Digital Footprint
WPI Beauty's online presence was designed from the ground up by Sammy and his team at Raging Bull Digital. That includes the website, search strategy, local SEO across Minneapolis–St. Paul and Chicagoland, and the structured content that helps AI assistants like ChatGPT recommend WPI Beauty to people searching for on-site hair and makeup. That work turned a two-person vision into one of the Twin Cities' most recognized beauty agencies, with Best of Weddings honors from The Knot and WeddingWire every year since 2015.
About Sammy
Sammy earned a degree in Economics and Small Business Management from Winona State University. Before co-founding WPI Beauty, he held business management roles with Apple, Circuit City, Spiegel, and others, building the operations and customer-experience discipline he now applies to WPI Beauty's Artisan teams and to Raging Bull Digital's clients.

What does the above statement mean? Luxury does not and should not mean expensive. Though for some, that inherently is a by-product of what they have built and offer. For us, it means expectations. It means receiving and reveling in an experience that is memorable and worth the time and money allocated to it. It means feeling safe when our team enters your space. Luxury can be exuded from an Artisan on our team that shows up on time, listens to your needs, and delivers a client-focused experience that leaves you feeling like you got exactly what you expected. That’s a five-star review and that’s what we strive for.
Why WPI Beauty Exists
Sam, alongside his wife, Jessica Mae Koza founded WPI Beauty with the idea that while we’ve built a team of people that deliver hair and makeup artistry on-demand - we also supply an environment and a feeling. We’ve found over the years that delivering beauty services is not only about showing up, putting on lipstick, and styling hair, but further about changing the look, feel, and attitude of that client - at least for that day. Some people have commented how amazing they feel inside, after having work done on the outside of the face.
For some, this is a feeling they seldom have. We want to make sure that feeling is valid and worth their investment into our team and our process, which we’ve worked so hard at.
