COVID-19 Health & Safety Preparedness Plan

LAST UPDATED APRIL 4, 2022

WPI will comply with any state or city mandates that are put into place. All updates will be listed below as they happen. The health and safety of our team and our clients will always come first. Because we work in the beauty industry and personal services are the most intimate services that can be performed, we have put a lot of time and critical thought into how to proceed during this season of COVID-19.

WPI has also surveyed its Artisans to to get a temperature on their comfort level working during a pandemic, what services they are willing to offer and what protective measures they’d like to have taken in order to feel as safe as possible while working. We ask that your understanding for small business owners take precedence over personal opinions or wants. Common sense and standardized practices will always be in place at WarPaint International when it comes to health and safety.

We are all excited to continue to offer “Onsite Beauty. Whenever, Wherever, as safely and methodically as possible.

For Our Clients

  • WPI highly encourages but does not require artisans to be vaccinated in order to work. We will do our best to accommodate client requests to work with fully vaccinated artisans, however ample notice must be given and we do not guarantee the ability to accommodate these requests.

  • As of July 1, 2021 we will no longer require fully vaccinated clients to wear a mask while in the getting ready space. UNLESS THERE IS A MASK MANDATE IN THE CITY YOUR SERVICE(S) TAKE PLACE IN

    • Please note, our Artisans reserve the right to require a client to wear a mask during a service at their sole discretion - regardless of vaccination status. Please plan ahead and have a mask available to wear should this be asked of you.

    • If a client refuses to wear a mask during a service where the Artisan has requested they do so, we will not be able to proceed with the service and no refund will be given.

    • We will continue to request all non vaccinated clients to mask up at all times.

    • Client’s reserve the right to request a face shield be worn (in addition to a mask) by an Artisan while they are receiving service from WPI.

  • As of July 1, 2021 we will no longer have any restrictions on how many people are allowed in the getting ready space.

    • It is important to note that we do have some Artisans on our team that have high risk family at home. These Artisans may request that a private work area be made available for them. We will do our best to notify you of this ahead of time so we can work together to find the best option.

    • Please note, we will continue to require ample space be provided by the client in order to perform our work. You may reference your contract to review those requirements.

  • If you test positive for COVID-19 less than 5 days prior to your appointment date, we will not be able to service you and you must cancel your appointment(s). Refunds will not be granted.

  • All clients with appointments (and those who will be in the getting ready space) agree to do a self health screen a minimum of 12 hours before their event/appointment.

  • If you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19 we ask that you cancel your appointment. Refunds will not be granted.

  • Artisans may do a verbal consultation with each client before beginning services. If they choose to they will ask a series of questions as it relates to their current health and COVID-19.

  • WPI reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who reports or is displaying symptoms.

  • We ask that client’s refrain from eating while getting a service done.

  • Clients must wash hands before and after each service.
