About Angel:
What makes your artistry unique? Everyone’s art is unique in its own right, but I like to find the uniqueness in each client’s features and complement it, with specific colors and shapes for each face. Bold eyes and a buttery-smooth base are my signature.
What inspires you? Colors, realism, and textures. I have a big niche for special effects makeup. Films inspire me, like the color palette in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and the makeup work in X.
Style icon: For special effects, Howard Berger, especially his work on Evil Dead II and Scream. For beauty makeup, Danessa Myricks. Her brand and makeup style are unmatched.
Hobbies/Interests: When I’m not doing makeup, I go to the movies to see what’s making history in film, especially horror movies for the special effects work. Makeup pretty much consumes my life.
