Laura Seaboy - Minneapolis Makeup & Hair Artisan
What makes your artistry unique?: The care and attention to detail, passion, and sincerity that I pass on to each of my clients. It creates much more of a meaningful experience rather than just an appointment.
What inspires you? The passions of life inspire me. The look of love, the flow of color, the beats in my latest soundtrack. Keeping my heart open to new places and people has helped me notice the details in life that some look at, but few see. I am always thankful to be able to share my passions with my clients and friends as I grow in my artistry.
Style Icon: Zuhair Murad, Rihanna, Lady Gaga's AHS Character 'The Countess'
Hobbies/Interests: I am a very family oriented person, so much of my free time is spent in some way revolving around the ones I love. When I am not creating, researching, or pinterest organizing beauty ideas, I am often taking mini adventures. I have a mixed family, so culture and travel is always a part of our lives. Learning, growing, and of course finding amazing new food spots are just some of the ways I enjoy life.
WarPaint Artisan Since: July 2014
Specialty: Editorial and commercial shoots, bridal makeup, and special effects.
Education & Experience: While pursuing a degree in Fine Arts and History, I have worked as a freelance makeup artist since 2011. I became certified in Multi Media Makeup Artistry at Faces Etc. of Minneapolis, and started out in mostly film and television. Since then, I have broadened my skills to involve minor injury special effects, bridal, and editorial work. This past year has been a busy one with working on many weddings, book covers, U of M Big Ten shoots, and editorial work with multiple photographers.
