Debbie Aderinkomi. Writer and Blogger for WarPaint International Beauty Agency

Debbie Aderinkomi

Blogger/Writer. My writing style is very conversational. This may not be unique but it is generally not standard. I enjoy feeling like I am talking to my readers face to face. Often times when I am writing I am also saying what I am typing out loud (am I the only one who does this??). This helps me make sense of the flow of conversation I am having with my audience. I can write in different point of views (i.e. first, second and third person), but writing in first and second person feels more personal. I believe people value being spoken to on a personal level.

My style icons included (but are not limited to) Solange, Zendaya, Amandla Stenberg and @coco_pinkprincess on Instagram. All of them exude girl power in their own way.

Some of my hobbies/interests include looking for fashion inspiration on Instagram, coordinating photoshoots, daydreaming, eating takeout and self-studying Japanese & Korean.

I recently graduated from Marquette University, receiving a degree in Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design. Before writing for WarPaint International, I was a contributor for MESH-ED.com and a blogger for Marquette University Wire. Currently I am a blogger for MU Wire, Artisans Unite and my personal website.
